The Daring Way™ 4-Day Women’s Retreat

September 12th-15th, 2024

During our four days together we will explore vulnerability, trust, boundaries, and how to heal the relationship we have with ourselves in order to create the lives and relationships that we want. Utilizing Brené Brown’s groundbreaking research, we will dive deeper into how we can be better at actually feeling our emotions, increase our resilience to stress and trauma, and develop a sense of home within ourselves.

Located

In the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. The Horse Shoe Farm is an 85-acre boutique farm-stay with on site spa, restaurant, recreation activities, and beautifully restored spaces for luxury accommodations.

Facilitated by

Allison Grubbs, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, and yoga teacher

After getting trained in this work by Dr. Brown in 2013, Allison has facilitated groups, retreats, and workshops on shame, vulnerability, resilience, and healing our relationships. Allison feels honored to do this transformational work and takes great care in creating and holding space. Allison has a private practice in Raleigh and works with adolescents, adults, and families struggling with addictions, compulsive behavior, trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, shame, and depression.
